Position Overview
Focus Staff is hiring a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Winston‑Salem, North Carolina. The role requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts, and responsibilities include operating advanced radiographic equipment for vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.

- Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
- Independent decision‑making skills.
- Strong understanding of patient safety and precautions.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Ability to interact positively with residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
- Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
- Meet all local health regulations and complete a post‑offer health assessment.
- Physical and sensory requirements: walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, hearing and responding to pages, reading, writing, verbal and written communication, remaining calm under stress, distinguishing smells, tastes, temperatures.
At least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak, and other clinical systems.
- Monitor equipment performance to specification.
- Assist supervisor in maintaining sufficient supplies for patient care.
- Ensure exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
- Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence.
