Microsoft Solutions Architect

Biz Technology Solutions, a New Charter Technologies company, is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Solutions Architect / Microsoft Platform Architect to design, lead, and deliver complex Microsoft-based solutions for enterprise clients. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, combining technical architecture, team leadership, project execution, and executive-level client communication.
This position is often titled Microsoft Solutions Architect, Microsoft Technical Architect, Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Platform Architect in the market.

This is a hybrid remote role based in the United States.  Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
** Role Overview
** The Microsoft Solutions Architect will serve as a technical authority and delivery leader across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure Data platforms, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and custom .NET solutions. This role is responsible for architecting end-to-end Microsoft solutions, guiding development teams, managing project execution, and partnering directly with client stakeholders and executives.

This is not a traditional project manager role. The ideal candidate has deep, hands-on experience designing and implementing Microsoft solutions while also leading teams and driving successful client outcomes.
** Key Responsibilities
**** Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership
*** Architect, design, and deliver enterprise Microsoft solutions using:  + Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Dynamics 365 CRM (CE)  + Microsoft Azure Data Warehousing (Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory)  + Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, pipelines, analytics)  + Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)  + Microsoft SQL Server  + .NET / C#–based integrations and custom development
* Define scalable, secure, and high-performance solution architectures across cloud and platform services
* Lead integration efforts between Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure services, and third-party systems
* Establish governance, security, and best practices across Power Platform and Azure environments
** Delivery, Team Leadership & Project Management
*** Lead and mentor developers and engineers, providing technical guidance and architectural oversight
* Own technical delivery across multiple projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and to scope
* Collaborate with project managers to manage timelines, risks, and dependencies
* Translate business requirements into technical designs and execution plans
* Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and deployment planning
** Client & Stakeholder Engagement
*** Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
* Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to client executives and non-technical audiences
* Lead architecture workshops, technical discovery sessions, and solution presentations
* Partner with sales and leadership teams to support solution design and pre-sales activities when needed
** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
* 8+ years of hands-on experience delivering Microsoft-based enterprise solutions
* Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Dynamics 365 CRM
* Proven experience with Azure Data Warehousing (Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory)
* Experience designing or implementing solutions using Microsoft Fabric
* Deep hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
* Strong development experience with Microsoft SQL Server and .NET / C#
* Demonstrated ability to architect Microsoft solutions end-to-end
* Proven experience leading technical teams and managing project delivery
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage client executives
* Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
** Preferred Skills & Certifications
*** Microsoft Certifications such as:  + Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (MB-910 or similar)  + Power Platform Developer (PL-400)  + Azure Developer or Architect certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305)
* Experience with:  + Azure Dev Ops (CI/CD pipelines, release management)  + Data integrations, APIs, and third-party system connectivity  + Managed Services or Microsoft Partner environments
