Senior Unified Communications – Collaboration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise unified communications and collaboration platforms
• Identify opportunities to improve resiliency, performance, and user experience
• Provide senior-level support for mission-critical communication services
• Lead major incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation planning
• Define and enforce platform architecture and technical standards
• Manage change control processes and provide post-deployment support
• Evaluate vendor platforms and recommend technology solutions
• Develop and maintain operational documentation
• Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical escalation point
• Support ongoing system administration and participate in cross-functional initiatives

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in platform engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong experience in unified communications, collaboration engineering, or related enterprise infrastructure roles
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise collaboration platforms such as Zoom, Webex, Google Workspace, or similar UC technologies
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across endpoints, identity, networking, security, and cloud services
• Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals
• Experience leading complex implementations and service improvements
• Strong communication skills
