We are seeking a talented Purchasing Specialist/Agent to join our team.
Responsibilities- Coordinate activities in the purchasing process
- Create and process purchase orders
- Use problem solving skills to work and resolve delivery and vendor issues.
- Strong cost negotiating ability and inventory control knowledge are a must.
- Weekly purchase reporting
- Minimum 2 years purchasing experience required.
- Detail oriented
- Great communication skills are critical.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, understanding, aligning, delivering and following up with internal and external customers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to learn new software programs.
- Minimum 1-year fastener experience preferred.
