Position Summary
- Join the Ramily! Work with a friendly campus community as one of our Building Environmental Service Technicians! This is a Custodian/Housekeeper role responsible for cleaning and disinfecting campus buildings.

Responsibilities include:

Daily routine cleaning and resupply of assigned work areas

Basic cleaning functions include, but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, disinfecting, vacuuming, and removing trash.

Filling dispensers (such as tissue and soap dispensers) to appropriate amounts with proper product

Clean restroom floors, commodes, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and dispensers

Detail cleaning of assigned area, such as dusting and glass cleaning

Project-related tasks such as floor care, deep restroom cleaning, and occasional custodial outdoor tasks

Submit supply requests on a regular basis as directed by supervisor

Turn laundry in for regular cleaning, monitor equipment for malfunction, and correct minor equipment issues such as replacing vacuum bags or filters

Collaborate with peers, assisting where needed, sharing resources and information, and by providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.

Communicate professionally with other staff members, complete mandatory forms such as sign in/sign out for attendance and university property/equipment.
