** Pipe Superintendent
** Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Pipe Superintendent for our manufacturing shop in Browns Summit, NC. In this role you will lead a team of pipe welders, pipe fitters, and pipe helpers in the prefabrication of industrial HVAC piping systems.

* Schedule:

** 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

** 5955 Summit Ave, Summit Ave, Browns Summit, NC 27214
** Responsibilities:
*** Oversee the installation of industrial piping systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water
* Prioritize safety and ensure the team completes audits and all EAS safety requirements
* Manage project schedules
* Maintain tool inspection reports
* Review submittals, installation, and operation manuals
* Interview and hire new employees to join the pipe department
*
* Qualifications:

*** Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervision
* Familiarity with flowline manufacturing
* Knowledge of pipe fabrication methods
* Excellent time management skills and problem solving abilities
* Ability to work both independently and as a team
* Ability to read blueprints and schematics
* Strong Interpersonal skills for coordinating teams
* Fluency in email, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software
*
* Education Requirements:

*** Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
* Trade School completion preferred

Skills:

*** Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
* Ability to lift 50 lbs
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, and pull throughout the shift
