Positions available second shift. Previous CNC experience preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain manufacturing equipment
  • Operate equipment to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move product
  • Conduct in‑process quality checks and resolve issues as required
  • Assist with equipment maintenance activities
  • Maintain and monitor machines to ensure proper functioning
  • Develop an in‑depth understanding of how assigned equipment functions
  • Operate forklift as required to support manufacturing
  • Interpret production work orders and record/report production data including scrap
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, equipment, and tools
  • Count, record, and report inventory (sheet, coil, accessory stock, shop supplies, skids, cores, etc.)
  • Spin down pre‑slit coil stock and complete appropriate packaging per order specifications
  • Load and unload customers, LTL vans, and flatbed trucks with forklift (including palletized coils & sheets, load customer equipment, and maintain/log shipments) as required
  • Be flexible and respond to changing organizational needs, including overtime as required
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school or military experience a plus
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills
  • Excellent math skills and PC literacy
  • Detail oriented, self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to multi‑task
  • Team oriented with effective communication skills
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen, and E‑verify
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Able to inspect material for quality conformance using measuring devices and drawings
