Positions available second shift. Previous CNC experience preferred.
Responsibilities- Set up and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Operate equipment to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move product
- Conduct in‑process quality checks and resolve issues as required
- Assist with equipment maintenance activities
- Maintain and monitor machines to ensure proper functioning
- Develop an in‑depth understanding of how assigned equipment functions
- Operate forklift as required to support manufacturing
- Interpret production work orders and record/report production data including scrap
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, equipment, and tools
- Count, record, and report inventory (sheet, coil, accessory stock, shop supplies, skids, cores, etc.)
- Spin down pre‑slit coil stock and complete appropriate packaging per order specifications
- Load and unload customers, LTL vans, and flatbed trucks with forklift (including palletized coils & sheets, load customer equipment, and maintain/log shipments) as required
- Be flexible and respond to changing organizational needs, including overtime as required
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school or military experience a plus
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills
- Excellent math skills and PC literacy
- Detail oriented, self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to multi‑task
- Team oriented with effective communication skills
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen, and E‑verify
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Able to inspect material for quality conformance using measuring devices and drawings
