Order Processing Coordinator 2nd and 3rd

The Order Processing Coordinator provides critical administrative and production support for 2nd and 3rd shift operations. This position is responsible for reviewing and maintaining work orders, verifying material availability, coordinating schedule changes, monitoring order progress, and communicating updates to ensure production operations remain on schedule.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Review work orders to ensure all required information is complete, accurate, and consistent with production requirements.
- Print / create labels for daily work orders needed for Production.
- Review and update work orders as needed to reflect changes in production requirements, materials, quantities, specifications, or other relevant information.
- Verify that all required components and materials are available to support scheduled production.
- Check storage warehouses and inventory locations for required components and identify material shortages or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with appropriate departments when materials, components, information, or other resources are unavailable or require clarification.
- Review the production schedule and make appropriate schedule adjustments when necessary to support production needs, material availability, priorities, or changing customer requirements.
- Communicate schedule changes and work order updates clearly and promptly to Production, Planning, Customer Service, and other affected departments.
- Monitor the progress of orders throughout the shift and identify potential delays or issues that could impact production or customer commitments.
- Notify Customer Service, Planners, Production, and/or Management of significant delays, material shortages, schedule changes, or other issues affecting orders.
- Work proactively with production personnel and other departments to resolve issues that arise during order processing and production.
- Ensure work orders are properly completed, updated, and archived when production is finished.
- Possess and maintain a working knowledge of the materials, products, processes, and equipment associated with the production lines being supported.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd shift production operations with timely information and administrative support necessary to maintain workflow.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Schedule:
- Monday: 4pm-1am (hour lunch)
- Tuesday: 4pm-1am (hour lunch)
- Wednesday: 4pm-1am (hour lunch)
- Thursday: 4pm-1am (hour lunch)
- Friday: 1pm-10pm (hour lunch) no 3rd shift Friday night
Job Requirements:
- Ability to sit for entirety of shift and work on computer.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop and walk the production floor.
- Flexibility to work overtime as requested.
- Ability to work independently and without continuous supervision
- Ability to focus on relevant work for entirety of shift.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States
