Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Nurse Supervisor III to function as a House Coordinator at Central Regional Hospital (CRH). The House Coordinator is administratively responsible for all nursing personnel and the delivery of nursing care on their assigned shift (after business hours—holidays and weekends). The House Coordinator monitors and evaluates the quality of nursing care delivery hospital wide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administratively responsible for all nursing personnel and the delivery of nursing care on the assigned shift.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care delivery hospital wide.
  • Function as a House Coordinator during after‑business‑hours shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications and Preferences
  • Competence in nursing theory, skills, practices and procedures appropriate for children and/or adults with psychiatric and mental illnesses.
  • Competence in management and oversight, including critical thinking, problem solving, resource management, delegation, personnel management and effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the N.C. Nurse Practice Act and Standards of Care.
  • Able to speak, write and understand English proficiently.

Conditional Requirements:
Physical requirements will be discussed during the interview, but at a minimum include the ability to perform CPR, NVCI (APT), and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $82,857.00 – $. Recruiting Salary: $.

This is a full‑time position with a 40‑hour work week, normal working hours from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with flexibility required for coverage during weekends and holidays. Employees are eligible for the full NC state benefits package, including health insurance, standard and supplemental retirement plans, paid vacation, sick and community service leave, and paid parental leave. The state offers a comprehensive benefits package through the NC DHHS Benefits and Wellness website.

Minimum Education and Experience

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina and four years of nursing experience, including two years in a Nurse Supervisor capacity.
