About the Position
A Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment starting August 18, 2025, for 60 days. The schedule is flexible, with options for 5x8s, 4x10s, or 3x12s, typically from 7 AM to 3 PM/5 PM/7 PM. The CRNA will be required to work one Saturday or Sunday per month as a normal daytime shift, with no call shift.

Job
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide anesthesia care for various surgical procedures, including:
• Endoscopy
• General Surgery
• Plastics
• Vascular
• Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine
• Liver Cases
• Robotics
• Orthopedics
• Trauma and Ortho Trauma
- Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient management and record-keeping
- Ensure high-quality anesthesia care for patients
Additional Information:
- Experience in a wide range of surgical anesthesia required
- Comfort with complex cases such as spine surgeries and liver cases
- Familiarity with robotic surgery anesthesia preferred
- Flexibility to work different shift patterns
- Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
Important Note:
The CRNA will NOT be responsible for performing:
- Spinals
- Epidurals
- Nerve Blocks
- Upper/Lower Blocks
- Fiber Optics
(These procedures will be conducted by the MDA)
