03230 WFBMG University Group Practice: WFBMC Main - Pediatrics:
Nephrology
Full time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP‑AC) or Physician Assistant – Inpatient Nephrology team in Winston‑Salem, NC.
ScheduleMonday‑Friday, 40 hours per week; potential weekend coverage up to two weekends per month.
Compensation- $51.05 - $76.60 per hour
- Base compensation within pay range based on qualifications and experience
- Premium pay (shift, on call) and incentive pay for select positions
- Annual performance-based increases
- CME reimbursement up to $2,500 and 5 additional PTO days/year

- Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations in inpatient settings
- Use medical decision‑making to determine appropriate care plans
- Collaborate with the medical team for effective team‑based care
- Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Explain diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to patients
- Perform procedures per department or practice guidelines
- Precept students and/or medical learners as encouraged

- Perform other related duties as incidental to work described
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program;
Master’s degree preferred - Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, certified by NCCPA
- Pediatric experience preferred; new graduates considered
- BLS and PALS required
- Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program;
Master’s degree or higher required - Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care
- Pediatric experience preferred; new graduates considered
- BLS and PALS required
