Novant Health Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Surgical Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing urology team in Winston‑Salem, NC.

In this role you will deliver comprehensive care to urologic patients in the acute care setting at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. You will support inpatient surgical services, perform consults, and round on patients with urologic conditions. This position is well suited for a motivated clinician who is passionate about managing and advancing care for patients with complex urologic needs.

The ideal candidate is patient-centered, adaptable, dependable, and thrives in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. The typical schedule is a 7‑on/7‑off rotation days only. Prior experience in urology and surgical assisting is preferred. RNFA certification is required for nurse practitioner applicants.

Our multidisciplinary team works closely to deliver exceptional outcomes for both operative and non‑operative patients. As an APP, you will practice under physician supervision while exercising a high level of clinical judgment across a broad scope of responsibilities.

What We're Looking For
  • Education:

    Master's Degree required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post‑master’s NP program required.
  • Experience:

    One year of experience in urology preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
    Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required; NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, ACLS, DEA registry required; RNFA certification required for NP applicants.
  • Additional

    Skills:

    Ability to complete skills validation and competency testing; thorough knowledge of diagnosis, pharmacology, physical assessment, chronic illness management; strong verbal and written communication; general computer knowledge preferred; ability to work independently and collaborate when necessary; problem‑solving, decision making, creative, communication skills; dedication to patient rehabilitation and self‑care.
