Position
Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Behavioral Health (2SA) – Nights
LocationWake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston‑Salem, NC (35150 Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center – Nursing: Pediatric Behavioral Health 2SA)
Schedule- Full‑time, 36 hours per week
- Shifts:
3–12 hours, 6:30 pm–7:00 am - Every 3rd weekend
$38.20 – $57.30 per hour. Sign‑on bonus eligible if qualified.

- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skillful communication to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- At least one year of RN experience.
Pediatric Behavioral Health is a 16‑bed child/adolescent unit with an average daily census of 14. The unit collaborates with providers, nursing teammates, recreational therapy, music therapy, social work, chaplaincy, and several child‑friendly volunteer groups. The average length of stay is 5–7 days. The unit currently utilizes the CPI de‑escalation program and has been recognized twice as a unit likely recommended by patients and families.
