Registered Nurse; RN - PCU

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45–07:15

Assignment length: 13 weeks Guaranteed

Hours:

36 hours per week

Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience required

Required certifications: ACLS, BLS

Preferred certification: NIHSS

Experience with IV starts, telemetry/dysrhythmia recognition and management, non-invasive airway support, and chest tube care

Provide high-acuity nursing care to adult patients in a med-surg/telemetry setting

Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans

Perform and document care, ensuring compliance with protocols

Orientation: 24 hours

Must pass EKG testing prior to start

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

RTO:
Up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays); all RTO must be pre-approved

Scrubs:
White or navy blue required; not provided
