Skills:
Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Isolation Precautions/PPE. Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Preferred Skills/Certs:
Accessing/Managing Ports, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Ventilator Management.
Patient Diagnoses:
Post Open Heart Recovery Unit. Also take thoracotomies, esophagogastrectomies and TAVR.

Adults. Daily Census: 11-14. Special Equipment: VAD & ECMO
Submission Details: #Tier2 Travel Compliance. Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing. All testing must be completed within 48 hours. Submission Process:
All units are utilizing Clinical for direct profile review. Submission Details:
Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying. Disclosure required (with hospital name/dates employed) at submission; facility approval needed. Current travel Per Diem clinicians aren't eligible for travel contracts they must choose one. Include status and intent in the submission. Local candidates (50 miles):
Lower rate applies. RTO:
Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. All RTO must be pre-approved. Cannot request additional RTO after signing. NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal. Floating:

Pre-start modules are non-billable, time spent on modules should be margined separately from orientation hours. Acute Care: ~8-10 hours of modules. Non-Acute: ~4-5 hours of modules.
