Job Description

Join a fast-paced orthopedic and neuro spine unit as an Orthopedic Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract, working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. The role involves managing post-surgical orthopedic and spine patients, many of whom require diligent pain management and telemetry monitoring. You’ll be expected to float within the facility as needed and provide care for a patient load typically ranging from five to six patients, with potential flexibility up to seven.

This assignment offers a dynamic environment where your expertise in IV starts, telemetry, and post-op care will be essential to maintaining smooth patient flow. Premium skills such as ACLS, charge nurse experience, and Level I trauma experience are preferred, but the core requirement is at least two years of orthopedic nursing background. RTO restrictions are in place, so planning accordingly is important.
