Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Float Pool Winston Salem, NC Where You’ll WorkMed Surg Float Pool – Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist
Join our Med Surg Float Pool, where adaptable RNs deliver compassionate, high-quality care across multiple inpatient units. This role offers the flexibility to expand your clinical expertise while collaborating with diverse care teams in a leading academic medical center committed to excellence and professional growth.
We’re Looking For- Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program
- Minimum of 2 years of Inpatient nursing experience
- Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific as applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to adapt across multiple units
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Deliver safe, patient-centered critical care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice—monitoring complex patient conditions, administering treatments, and adapting care across multiple Med Surg settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across units to drive optimal outcomes—promoting safety, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting communication and delegation, and maintaining flexibility to meet patient care needs.
