Operating Room RN – Perioperative Nursing
Shift: 12-hour nights
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years recent acute OR experience
- Required
Certifications:
BCLS / BLS - Must have strong experience in at least 2 of the following specialties: neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, robotics
- EMR:
Epic
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
- Perform both scrubbing and circulating duties during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile environment according to infection control standards.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of surgical instruments and supplies.
Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation:
Minimum 36 hours required. - RTO after booking is not allowed. Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during the first week; all RTO must be pre-approved.
- Scrubs:
Provided (ceil blue).
