Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Operating Room RN – Perioperative Nursing

Shift: 12-hour nights

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years recent acute OR experience
• Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  BCLS / BLS
• Must have strong experience in at least 2 of the following specialties: neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, robotics
• EMR:
  Epic

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
• Perform both scrubbing and circulating duties during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a sterile environment according to infection control standards.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist in the preparation and organization of surgical instruments and supplies.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation:
  Minimum 36 hours required.
• RTO after booking is not allowed. Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during the first week; all RTO must be pre-approved.
• Scrubs:
  Provided (ceil blue).
