Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Gastroenterology Acute Care Unit
Location:
Forsyth Medical Center - Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule:
Full-Time days | 7:00 AM-7:00PM

Our Medical/Gastroenterology Acute Care Unit is looking for a passionate RN to join our crew! If you enjoy caring for complex patients, working alongside a supportive team, and continuing to grow your clinical skills, this could be the perfect fit.
Our GI nurses are experts at navigating everything from challenging acute conditions to helping patients through their recovery journey. You'll be surrounded by teammates who value collaboration, laughter, learning, and making a difference one patient at a time.
What You'll Do
* Provide comprehensive nursing care to GI patients
* Monitor patient progress and respond to changing clinical needs
* Assist with preparation and recovery for GI procedures
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
* Educate patients and families on condition management and treatment plans
What We're Looking For
* Education:
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
* Experience:
One year relevant experience, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
