Interventional Radiology Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
4x10 Hour Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
The Interventional Radiology Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced environment focusing on conscious sedation and telemetry. The nurse will work closely with procedures related to stroke and must understand interventional radiology (IR) procedures.
Manage patient care during interventional radiology procedures
Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient vital signs
Coordinate with the medical team to ensure effective patient outcomes
Participate in on-call rotations; have to be at the hospital within 30 minutes when on call
Provide coverage in pre and post units as needed
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical nursing setting
ACLS and BCLS certifications required; PALS preferred
Basic understanding of interventional radiology procedures is essential
Experience with telemetry and conscious sedation is necessary
