Work Locations:

CCT serves patients across all of North Carolina via ground transport, operating from three strategically placed base locations:

  • UNC Health Rex Hospital – Raleigh
  • UNC Health Rex Holly Springs Hospital – Holly Springs
  • UNC Johnston Hospital – Smithfield
Role Overview

This role is ideal for experienced ICU or Emergency Department nurses who are ready to bring their clinical skills into a mobile, patient-focused setting.

In This Role, You’ll
  • Deliver ICU-level interventions during interfacility ground transports
  • Conduct advanced assessments and manage time-sensitive therapies
  • Care for a diverse population, including:
    • Neuro and trauma patients
    • STEMI and other cardiac emergencies
    • High-risk OB and neonatal transports
    • Sepsis and respiratory failure
    • Cardiac supportive devices and ECMO for patience
  • Work collaboratively within a two- or three-person crew, depending on patient acuity
Summary

Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
