Role Overview:
The Registered Nurse in the Medical ICU leads patient care by building personalized relationships, collaborating with physicians and team members to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote health or support peaceful death. They utilize evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their health journeys, assuming responsibility, authority, and accountability for care management in accordance with policies and procedures.

They utilize evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their health journeys, assuming responsibility, authority, and accountability for care management in accordance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:Establish and maintain effective communication with patients and support systems, assess patient needs, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and ensure adherence to clinical standards and protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:- Graduate of an accredited nursing school;
Bachelor's degree preferred. - Minimum of one year of acute nursing experience.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Reactivation requirements if license has been inactive for five years or more.
