Travel/Contract RN position in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment near Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The role provides comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care, collaborates with the healthcare team, and supports patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care to patients, monitoring fetal well-being and managing labor progression.
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and the healthcare team to implement safe and effective care plans.
Perform fetal monitoring, interpret data accurately, and respond promptly to fetal distress or emergent situations.
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care, offering emotional support throughout the childbirth process.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and licensing requirements.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience in a hospital setting
Valid North Carolina RN license or compact license
Strong patient education and emotional support skills
Flexibility to work multiple shifts
Proficiency in fetal monitoring and postpartum care
Excellent clinical documentation skills

You hold a BSN and active NC RN license. You have at least one year L&D hospital experience. You are certified in BLS, ACLS, and NRP
