We are seeking a skilled OR Nurse to join the surgical team in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:preparing operating rooms by ensuring the availability and functionality of instruments, supplies, implants, medications, and equipment; assisting with room setup and maintaining sterile fields according to infection control standards; functioning in scrub and/or circulator roles during surgeries; and anticipating the needs of surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team throughout procedures.
Qualifications:a current RN license in the appropriate state; a bachelor's degree preferred, with graduation from an accredited nursing school; at least one year of relevant OR experience preferred; and for inactive licenses, successful completion of a refresher course is required prior to reinstatement.
Skills:strong knowledge of surgical procedures, infection control, sterile techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
This role involves full-time day shifts, including some call and weekend duties, within a unit featuring 17 OR rooms and a 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
