We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Neuro ICU role, providing direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit dedicated to critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients.
Responsibilities include caring for patients with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, and post-neurosurgical recovery, while monitoring and managing advanced interventions like ventilators, intracranial pressure monitoring, and titratable drips.
The role involves performing detailed neurological assessments, responding swiftly to patient condition changes, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons, intensivists, and therapists.
Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited nursing program;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - At least one year of acute nursing experience.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state and BLS certification.
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Compassionate and collaborative approach to patient care.
