Role:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for assisting in nursing services, delegating duties, monitoring patient conditions, and notifying physicians of emergencies or changes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in directing nursing care under RN supervision.
- Delegate tasks to nursing staff and monitor performance.
- Observe patients for physical and mental symptoms indicating adverse changes.
- Notify physicians of emergencies and implement medical orders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid LPN license from the appropriate licensing board.
- Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies.
- Ability to deliver quality patient care, follow medical instructions, and show interest in geriatric nursing.
- Annual CPR certification and participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
Background checks and a drug-free workplace are required. The role involves providing compassionate care in a supportive environment.
