About Facility:

Hematology and Oncology Outpatient Clinic
Located on the 3rd floor of the Cancer Center. Infusions on one side and the providers/exam rooms on the other

Unit Information:

Beds: 60 infusion chairs
Census:
Average patients/day: 125 per day

Minimum Years of Experience required
: 1 year in oncology/infusion setting

All types of cancer patients
Adults

Patient Ratios:

Depending on which pod assigned. Ratios will never be over 1:4

Required License, National Certification, Certs:

BLS, Chemo/Bio certification required

Skills required:

Administration of anti-neoplastic agents, port access, IV start skills, knowledge of Chemo/Immunotherapy side effects and how to manager

Support within the Department:

Leadership – Manager, Supervisor
