Required experience
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Strong PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
- Telemetry experience
- Must be comfortable with a high-acuity environment that operates somewhat like an ICU
- Required certifications
- ACLS
- BLS/BCLS
- NIHSS/NIH certification
- Must pass an EKG test before starting
- Scheduling requirements
- 12-hour day shifts: 06:45–19:15
- 36 or 48 hours/week may be offered
- 13-week contract or longer, with an end date through 2/27
- Every other weekend
- No block scheduling
- No on-call requirement
- Must be willing to float to the sister ICCU unit
- Must be available for orientation/classes during the first week
