As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will play a critical leadership role in managing the nursing department’s daily operations
, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations
.
- Oversee & support nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of resident care.
- Coordinate infection control programs to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Educate & mentor nursing staff to enhance professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage daily staffing processes to ensure proper coverage.
- Be available for on-call support (24-hour availability as needed).
- Lead and support hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives.
- Monitor and maintain accurate medical records.
- Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with a current North Carolina license.
- At least three (3) years of nursing experience.
- 1-2 years of management or supervisory experience (preferred).
- Active CPR certification.
- Strong leadership & communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- Passion for patient care and staff development.
- Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of residents and staff.
