This high-acuity 25-bed adult Med Surg and Trauma Surgery unit provides high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for patients who have experienced traumatic injuries. The team also cares for patients requiring emergency general (abdominal) surgery. Specialties include Trauma, Emergency General Surgery (EGS), and Orthopedic Surgery. RequirementsGraduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific based on practice location) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience Additional certifications or experience may be required based on specialty Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Provide and coordinate patient-centered care using the nursing process, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment aligned with clinical standards Apply evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and overall experience across the care continuum.
