We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Support Technician to join a pharmaceutical site. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a regulated lab environment and build a career in quality control.

• Collect dirty glassware daily, sometimes twice a day, from Quality Control labs.
• Sort and load glassware into two washers and maintain continuous wash cycles.
• Unload and 'muff' glassware post‑wash.
• Log all activity in the gLIMS system.
• Stock consumables and clean glassware in designated areas.
• Attend biweekly Continuous Improvement meetings.
• Participate in standard work planning and scheduling sessions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related life science field.
• Prior lab experience from academia or internship.
• Desire to build a career in pharmaceuticals and in a support role.

• Experience with glass washing, autoclaving, and stock room tasks.
• 0-1 years of experience in a laboratory setting.

The position requires in‑person lab support, with no remote work option. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, starting no later than 8:30 AM, with an 8‑hour shift and a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break. The role demands availability to be on‑site five days a week, with approximately 75% of the time spent on feet supporting the labs and 25% in the office doing computer work.

The small immediate team works directly with a manager and scheduler, and once tasks are assigned, this role is fairly independent.

This is a Contract position based out of Sanford, NC.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
