Position Overview
Research Scholar – Department: 85031 Wake Forest University Health Sciences – Academic Biochemistry.
Full time. Benefits Eligible:
Yes. Hours per week: 40.
Schedule:
Mon‑Fri 8‑5 pm. Pay range: $22.90 – $34.35 per hour.
This position requires a Ph.D. or M.D. degree and more than 2 years of laboratory experience in biomedical research using animal models and cell culture.
Responsibilities- Independently carry out research projects in retina/RPE biology and disease.
- Complete studies proposed in the PI’s grants.
- Generate data for publication and new grant proposals.
- Write and submit research papers.
- Ph.D. or M.D. degree.
- More than 2 years of laboratory experience in biomedical research.
- Experience with animal models and cell culture models.
