Job Overview
Are you seeking a part-time opportunity (25 hours +/- per week) as a Service Technician? Do you want to work daily on Ocracoke Island, NC? If so, Blossman Gas & Appliance would like you to submit your application online for consideration toward a part-time GAS SERVICE TECHNICIAN position at our location in Powells Point, NC with regular coverage on Ocracoke Island.
Responsibilities- install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers
- install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment such as water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, generators, and more
- perform occasional on-call duty and contribute to a team environment
- prior propane, appliance installation/repair, or mechanical experience
- customer service skills and strong commitment to safety
- valid CDL helpful; can help obtain if record has no major violations
Competitive hourly pay will depend on prior experience. Limited benefits include 401(k) with up to 4% company match. Meaningful work, job stability, and ongoing professional growth.
