Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Crane Operators to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. This position is available on first shift.

* Schedule:

** 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary
** Responsibilities:
*** Operate various types of cranes, such as overhead cranes to lift, move, and position materials, equipment, and components as needed.
* Conduct pre-operational checks on the crane and related equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
* Interpret load charts and rigging diagrams to determine load capacities, rigging configurations, and lifting procedures.
* Coordinate with supervisors, riggers, and other team members to plan and execute lifting operations safely and efficiently.
* Inspect lifting attachments, slings, and rigging hardware for defects or damage before each lift and report any issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
* Monitor crane operations closely to ensure safe and precise movement of loads, adjusting crane controls as needed to maintain stability and control.
* Communicate effectively with ground crew, spotters, and other personnel involved in lifting operations to coordinate movements and ensure safety.
* Assist in the maintenance and repair of cranes and related equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and minor adjustments, to ensure optimal performance.
* Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge related to crane operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support the overall goals and objectives of the company.
** Education Requirements/

Qualifications:

*** Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
* Valid crane operator certification or license.
* Proven experience as a crane operator in a manufacturing or construction environment.
* Strong understanding of crane operation principles, load dynamics, and rigging techniques.
* Ability to interpret load charts, rigging diagrams, and other technical documents.
** Job Requirements/Special

*** Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
* Ability to work at heights
* Attention to detail and accuracy in crane operation and load handling.
* Ability to work independently and on a team
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
