OverviewSchedule: Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm evenings as needed, weekends rotations, some holidays as needed
Travel: Some overnights as needed
Essential Job Functions- Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and program Fire Alarm, Access Control, Nurse Call Intrusion, Sound, CCTV, and IP Video Systems
- Accurately complete all required paperwork, such as Work Tickets and Inspection and/or Deficiency Reports, for all service calls and inspections
- Perform equipment upgrades for existing customers
- Electronically transfer equipment to customer locations to ensure accurate tracking of equipment
- Keep accurate & current inventory & vehicle maintenance logs
- Maintain company-issued assets including tools, equipment & vehicles
- Provide the highest level of customer experience in all interactions with customers
- Ability to work on low-voltage systems
- Provide detailed oral and written feedback to management concerning customer issues
- Other related duties as directed
- Currently hold or willing to obtain a State of Ohio Fire Alarm License
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of industry certifications as needed (Ex: SBCA, SAS, etc)
- Current valid Driver's License
- Ability to drive a vehicle without presenting a safety risk to self or others
- Ability to be added to Company auto insurance policy
- Legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs consistently
- At least 1 year of experience in fire alarm and security systems
- Ability to communicate effectively & professionally with customers
- In-depth technical and service training
- Willingness to think "outside of the box" on-site locations
- Safety Conscious
- Enjoy working with hands & learning new technology
- Experienced & comfortable using hand & power tools
- Must demonstrate personal accountability; be punctual for appointments & meetings
- Fast-paced environment with multiple changes to schedules & fluctuating priorities
- Must be comfortable working on roofs, at varying heights & in tight spaces
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- $21 - $45/hour
- 6 Paid Holidays
