Role: Mobile Diesel Technician responsible for on-site and roadside diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on customer fleets.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections, DOT safety checks, and repairs on engines, aftertreatment, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and OEM software to identify and resolve issues.
- Operate a fully equipped service truck, manage tools and parts inventory, and document all work accurately.
- Travel to customer locations and breakdown sites, providing timely updates and recommendations.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with dispatch, customers, and drivers to ensure fleet operations are maintained efficiently.
- Proven experience in diesel truck maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with OEM software and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to operate and manage a service truck and inventory.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Commitment to safety standards and documentation accuracy.
