Electrical Technican

Thermcraft is hiring a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In this hands‑on role, you will wire, assemble, test, troubleshoot, and support electrical control systems used in custom industrial furnaces and thermal-processing equipment.

• Wire industrial furnaces, control cabinets, and related components using electrical schematics, production drawings, instructions, and specifications.
• Lay out and wire electrical panels, including relays, fuses, circuit breakers, and other control components.
• Integrate electrical and mechanical systems in partnership with engineering, production, and other cross‑functional teams.
• Test electrical systems and components using industrial electrical test equipment and voltage meters.
• Troubleshoot circuits, identify root causes, and complete repairs or adjustments.
• Complete required sign‑off sheets and electronic/electrical quality check documentation accurately.
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including drilling, tapping, cutting, measuring, and mounting components.
• Safely operate hand tools, drill presses, table saws, forklifts, cranes, and other material‑handling equipment as trained and authorized.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow company quality and safety procedures.

• Associate degree in electrical engineering technology, electronics, industrial maintenance, or a related field; or at least two years of relevant electrical experience.
• Hands‑on experience with industrial electrical panel layout, wiring, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical principles, circuitry, relays, fuses, and circuit breakers.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, production drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ability to operate and interpret industrial electrical and electronic test equipment.
• General mechanical skills and proficiency with hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, cutting tools, calipers, and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Familiarity with computer‑aided design tools and technical documentation software is a plus.

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and climb on, in, or under equipment as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
