.NET​/AWS Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Senior .NET Software Engineer to join a growing technology team. This is a hands‑on role for a seasoned engineer with strong expertise in .NET Core, React, and AWS Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading development teams, driving technical decisions, and delivering scalable enterprise applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to start as a contractor and transition to a full-time employee after approximately six months based on performance and business needs.

• 7+ years of hands-on .NET development experience

• Strong experience developing applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

• Experience building modern front-end applications with React.js

• Hands‑on experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions within AWS Cloud

• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices preferred

• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies preferred

• Knowledge of serverless architectures and AWS services such as:

• Lambda

• ECS/EKS

• API Gateway

• S3

• RDS

• Cloud Watch

• Serve as a hands‑on technical leader while actively contributing to coding, architecture, and solution design.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core, React, and AWS.

• Mentor and guide developers through code reviews, technical coaching, and best practices.

• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.

• Establish and enforce coding standards, development practices, and quality assurance processes.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership during critical initiatives.

• Support cloud modernization efforts and AWS adoption strategies.

Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Winston‑Salem, NC, five days per week. Candidates seeking C2C with H1b transfers, 1099 subcontracting, or relocation WILL NOT be considered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winston‑Salem, NC.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
