Senior Product Engineer

Allstate is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to design, build, and optimize digital insurance and financial products. You'll translate business and customer needs into scalable, secure solutions across our platforms, collaborating with product, design, and data teams. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end feature development, integrating APIs, improving system performance, and ensuring high code quality through testing and reviews. You'll mentor engineers, champion best practices, and contribute to architecture decisions in a flexible, learning-focused, and inclusive environment that impacts millions of customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize insurance and financial product features end-to-end
• Translate business and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Develop and integrate APIs and services across platforms and systems
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security of production systems
• Implement and maintain automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams in Agile ceremonies
• Contribute to architecture and technical roadmap decisions
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team
• Continuously improve development processes and tooling
