Accounting Clerk; Account Payable

Position: Accounting Clerk (Account Payable)
Nations Roof is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position is based in Winter Garden, FL and will be 100% in office with a Monday-Friday schedule. Nations Roof is one of the largest and fastest growing commercial roofing contractors, ranked #4 in 2021 Top Roofing Contractors in the US. Our projects range in scope from large scale new commercial construction, industrial, hospitality, distribution centers, retail centers, office buildings, multifamily, residential, and green roofs to large renovations of existing buildings.

Purpose:

Take direction and provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department. Responsibilities:
Communicate with the customer about account and billings Enter accounts payable Processing accounts payable checks - selecting, printing, mailing Enter accounts receivable invoice Make bank deposits Post deposits to the accounting system Reconcile accounts as required Excellent verbal and written communication required Skills/

Qualifications:

3 years' experience in an accounting position Must have exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Knowledge of Viewpoint Construction or other construction software a plus Knowledge of construction accounting is a plus The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work to be performed.
