Job Summary

Provide front desk customer service at the airport FBO, handle billing for fueling operations, facility fees, and overnight tie‑downs, maintain fuel records, and perform general clerical and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as typing, data entry, organizing, and maintaining paper and electronic files.
  • Handle billing for fueling operations, facility fees, and overnight tie‑downs.
  • Provide front desk customer service to pilots, passengers, and visitors—assisting with inquiries, fueling requests, ground transportation coordination, and other related services.
  • Offer customer service over the phone, in person, and electronically.
  • Set up and maintain files; retrieve and assemble information for supervisors.
  • Perform other financial processing work as required.
  • Operate office equipment including scanner, photocopier, and computer with accompanying software.
  • Operate a vehicle to travel to various locations to perform work, transport or retrieve goods, and complete errands as directed.
  • Coordinate issuance and maintenance of Airport Identification and Security Cards.
  • Maintain fuel records and review quality control documents to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure a professional, courteous, and safe environment for all airport customers and staff.
  • Work a flexible schedule as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation, arithmetic, and standard office practices.
  • Experience with billing and invoicing for fueling operations, facility fees, and overnight tie‑downs.
  • Front desk customer service experience in an airport/FBO setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple administrative and financial tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in preparing documents and spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational skills and flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Type at a competent speed and with accuracy.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
  • One year of experience in performing administrative/clerical work.
Special Requirements
  • Possession of a valid Florida driver’s license with a good driving record as determined by the City of Winter Haven.
  • Negative test for non‑prescribed controlled substances verified by a laboratory approved by the City of Winter Haven.
