Seasonal Part-Time Resort Ops Host – Experiences
Role Summary
Love creating magical moments? Obsessed with guest happiness? The Resort Operations Host – Experiences is all about bringing the fun, the smiles, and the WOW to every guest visit!
In this role, you’ll be cross-trained in multiple areas across the resort—Admissions, Retail, Attractions, and Guest Experiences—making every shift exciting and different. You’ll be on the front lines helping families build unforgettable memories while living our Merlin Values through positive, high-energy guest engagement.

Key Responsibilities- Zonal Operations:
Work across multiple zones throughout the resort, supporting daily operations and delivering outstanding guest service - Welcome guests at entrances, scan tickets, manage admissions, and keep guest flow smooth and stress-free
- Assist guests with retail purchases, handle transactions, restock merchandise, and spot upselling opportunities
- Support shows, educational programs, and hands-on building experiences by preparing venues and engaging guests
- Perform opening and closing procedures according to operational guidelines
- Partner with leadership to help resolve resort-wide guest questions or concerns
- Jump into different roles as needed—flexibility and teamwork are key to creating amazing guest experiences!
- Follow and support all health & safety procedures to keep guests and teammates safe
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or accidents and suggest safety improvements
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments with noise, crowds, and occasional challenges
- Stay focused under pressure, including during ride delays or guest concerns, to ensure safe and positive operations
- Work indoors, outdoors, and in enclosed spaces with changing temperatures
- Exposure to wet, humid conditions and possible food allergens
- Regular standing, walking, and moving throughout the resort
- Visual and hearing ability to read instructions, follow procedures, and communicate clearly with guests and team members
- Guest-facing experience preferred (theme park, attractions, retail, hospitality, etc.)
- Friendly, confident communicator who loves working with people
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Basic math and computer skills preferred
- Flexible availability—including evenings, weekends, and holidays—to support park operations

Pay Range
USD $14.00/Hr.
