Overview
Bay Care Medical Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Surgeon to join our expanding orthopedic service line across Bartow Regional Medical Center and Winter Haven Hospital
, two key facilities providing high-quality, patient-centered care in central Florida.
The Orthopedic Surgeon will provide high-quality surgical and nonsurgical orthopedic care across both hospital campuses. This role involves managing a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, participating in operative and non-operative care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide orthopedic evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical treatment for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Perform elective and emergent orthopedic procedures including fracture repair, joint replacement, arthroscopy, and soft-tissue procedures.
- Participate in shared call rotation between Bartow Regional and Winter Haven Hospital.
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, therapists, and hospital staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Contribute to quality initiatives, clinical protocols, and performance improvement activities.
- Engage in community and patient education as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record systems.
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Active or eligible Florida medical license.
- Subspecialty interest welcome.
Bartow Regional Medical Center is a 72-bed acute care hospital serving Bartow and surrounding communities, offering a full range of surgical services including orthopedic surgery. The hospital features four surgery suites, dedicated inpatient and outpatient orthopedic services, advanced imaging, and a multidisciplinary musculoskeletal care team.
Winter Haven Hospital is a 447-bed regional facility with a comprehensive orthopedic program designed to maximize patient function through state-of-the-art technology, experienced surgical and rehab teams, and personalized treatment plans.
