Cast Member

City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and small-group academic support in core subjects
• Build positive relationships and mentor students to improve engagement
• Track and report student progress using established tools
• Support classroom teachers with lesson implementation and activities
• Assist with behavior management and creating a positive school climate
• Lead or support after-school programs and enrichment activities
• Communicate regularly with teammates and school staff
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
• Engage families and community partners as appropriate
• Uphold City Year's values of service, equity, and inclusivity
