Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care? Bay Care, a leading healthcare provider in Central Florida region is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising the tasks associated with the Registered Dietitian.
- Provides clinical nutrition assessment and care for patients.
- Acts as a liaison between the Food & Nutrition Department and Nursing Services, patients, and physicians.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures that facilitate the integration of the department to ensure quality care and services.
- Performs team member responsibilities to include interviewing, hiring, selecting, schedules, training, payroll time-keeping and performance appraisals.
- Works in conjunction with Manager in relation to disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Communicates to others a clear understanding of the service delivery system to maintain quality controls ensuring compliance with infection control and regulatory requirements thus meeting the needs to both internal and external customers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required:
Bachelors
- Food & Nutrition / Related Field - Preferred:
Masters
- Food & Nutrition / Related Field (Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for those not initially credentialed by 12/31/23) - Required:
Registered Dietitian through CDR and licensure through the State of Florida, or attainment of state licensure within 6 months of employment. - Preferred:
Board Certified Specialist via CDR or other professional group
