Job Title
Employees in this position perform a variety of tasks related to the care, treatment, and rehabilitation of program clients. These employees participate in the planning, preparation, and delivery of in-service training as directed by supervisory personnel. Employees in this position are aware of available community resources, they make appropriate referrals to same, and they function as a member of a treatment team.

Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesRequires a Master's Degree in field related to Human Services, which include but not limited to:
Social Work;
Clinical Psychology;
Counseling;
Rehabilitative Counseling;
Counseling Education;
Education;
Criminal Justice; or Ministry from an accredited college or university and at least one (1) year full-time experience in a mental health and/or addictions treatment setting. A certification as an Addictions Professional (CAP) by the Certification Board for Addiction Professionals of Florida. Is preferred.
Requires extensive knowledge of all aspects of addictions and/or mental health treatment and rehabilitation including familiarity with various models of treatment, understanding of various therapeutic techniques and approaches, and the ability to identify and utilize the most effective form of treatment with each client. Requires a strong knowledge base regarding the causes, symptoms, and progression of substance abuse and/or mental health problems.
