Bay Care Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Winter Haven Hospital Behavioral Health!

Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Position Details:

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• High School or Equivalent
• FL Driver's License
• Preferred
  - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology
• Preferred - CNA/PCT

Preferred Experience:

• 6 months
  - Psychology based experience
