Job Title: Ancillary Production, Lead
Job Type: Full time
Cardinal Equipment Services is looking for a Ancillary Production, Lead based out of our Winter Haven location. We’re currently looking for Monday through Friday, working 6:00AM to 3:30PM.
OverviewThe Ancillary Production Lead will be responsible for safety, quality and production, including completing daily orders, training, and QC. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide a team, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The Lead will also support the development and continuous improvement of departmental processes.
Key Responsibilities- Subject matter expert in production process and refurbishment of various equipment components and payment systems.
- Complete understanding of daily and weekly production goals.
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Oversee workflow and provide feedback to the production team.
- Assist in writing and reviewing existing and new SOPs.
- Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and process.
- Troubleshoot and investigate production and quality issues.
- Report on unusual conditions or circumstances to supervisor.
- Manage supply and inventory levels.
- Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Assist in training the team on Health and Safety rules and regulations, ensure adherence, and report all related matters to the supervisor and resolve using resources in line with the Company Safety Policy.
- Ability to train, lead, and motivate a team
- Must be safety and quality minded, detail oriented, comfortable working in a team environment, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical skills and quality management skills
- Knowledge of KPI’s, production processes and equipment.
- Computer skills and the ability to enter data accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English, with both written and verbal instruction.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, professionally confident and self-motivated.
- Ability to use good judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or general education degree or a suitable combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in production
- Repeated sitting, standing on cement floors, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, up to 35 lbs.
- Work performed on cement floors in a warehouse environment.
- Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, twist, reach, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight.
- Ability to operate assigned equipment.
- Ability to verbally communicate to exchange information.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
