RN - Registered Nurse - Outpatient Wound Care

Bay Care is looking for its newest Outpatient Wound Care RN in Winter Haven, FL. The Wound Care Registered Nurse cares for a sub‑specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards, delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set by a nationally recognized specialty organization.

The RN performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned, and promotes evidence‑based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

• RN license is required
• BLS is required

Associate’s in Nursing

1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional/procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional/procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment
