Clinical Nurse Educator – Surgical Services at Winter Haven Hospital.

• Assess, develop, implement, and lead educational activities to enhance professional competence of clinical team members.
• Create and oversee clinical programs by completing needs assessments.
• Employ evidence-based practice in educational methodologies and clinical practice.
• Assist in clinical orientation of new team members and provide ongoing consultation on educational requirements.
• Actively participate in quality improvement processes, acting as a positive agent of change and communication.
• Guide other disciplines in applying principles of evidence-based care to their educational needs.
• Provide virtual education and support to bedside RNs in critical care units throughout Bay Care.
• Perform appropriate RN functions and other duties when assigned, following the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) Scope and Standards.
• Support the Surgical Services area at Winter Haven Hospital.

• Registered Nurse license.
• BSL certification.
• BSN with at least 3 years of clinical experience, OR preferred, or bachelor’s in a healthcare-related field with 4 years of nursing education.

• Full-time, salaried.
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday‑Friday.
• Always in-person; no on-call.
